Every year, every Muslim are obligated to implement the Qurban ritual as they come to the 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th of Zulhijjah.
Beyond the story of sacrifice of the prophet Ibrahim (pbuh) and his son prophet Ismail (pbuh), the calling towards the unity and compassion with one another are clearly depicted when the rich are made to come together and share parts of what they possess with their Muslim brothers especially the needy.
